Hong Kong-based startup Rice Robotics launched its inaugural product today—the Minibot M1. This type of AI-powered companion robot was made possible through the collaboration with Floki. This partnership is a bold move for both companies. In particular, they are unveiling new and adventurous worlds of artificial intelligence and blockchain technology.
Rice Robotics is famous for putting robots in commercial delivery deployments across Japan. That’s everything from providing unmanned indoor delivery services for 7-Eleven Japan to office solutions at SoftBank headquarters. Now, the company is looking to build on that success with the Minibot M1. The company recently closed on over $7 million pre-Series A funding round. Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, Soul Capital and Audacy Ventures topped this investment, sparking an innovative new wave of growth and development.
Floki’s participation in the Minibot M1 project marks an exciting step in its plans to grow into tokenized AI and blockchain-enabled education, travel, and other services. With TokenFi, Floki wants to bring the tokenization of real-world assets and data to life. This entails regulating AI-generated content and robotic learning models. This collaboration enables Floki to leverage its blockchain technology expertise. As a testament, it will deeply enhance the functionality and user experience of the Minibot M1.
By design, the Minibot M1 operates on top of the decentralized Rice AI protocol. Most importantly, it rewards users with $Rice tokens simply by using it! These tokens are the backbone of an enormous data collection and training infrastructure aimed at making smarter robots. Blockchain technology creates financial incentives for users to engage consistently with the platform. Besides being super cool and interesting, it drives the ongoing enhancement of the robot’s AI smarts.
